Uke Boogie is a monthly open stage with no guitars allowed. Why no guitars? Because there are plenty of places to hear guitars, this is a place for other instruments to shine. It is not limited to ukeleles, a piano is on hand at the venue and all kinds of weird and wonderful instruments and spoken word performances make an appearance. You will always find something unique at Uke Boogie. Each month you can also win a brand new ukelele as well as other (usually strange) prizes by taking part in the raffle.
Uke Boogie is the friendliest open stage you can find, no matter what you will always find a supportive audience and it is a great place to connect with other musicians. The shows are presented in English but performances in German(or any language) are welcome, so long as there is no guitar.
Uke Boogie takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month at Lagari, Pflügerstrasse 19, Neukölln.
